Did you know that it is important to add additional posts to your niche blog every few days? When approached to do so, most people will cite the lack of time, articles, etc. in delaying the few minutes needed to accomplish a routine posting schedule...
But, what if I could tell you a way that you could spend a few hours a week, and create an "automatic" posting schedule for the next several months? Wouldn't that help keep you on track?
There are 2 main tasks to accomplish:
#1 - Write or Find Articles to add to your Blog:
The better choice is to write your own 500-700 word articles on different topics pertaining to your niche blog. If you can develop 10-15 articles by spending a few hours each week, you can turn around and place your articles into an automated system to creating a routine posting to your blog, and thereby increasing your chance of getting the attention of the Google Bot to make repeat visits!
An alternative is to go find articles that you have permission to reprint on your own site. One website that you can research at is http://www.ArticleCity.com
Doing a search, you will find a number of niches covering a vast amount of topics. Just do a search and find 10-20 articles that you can use on your own site. 2 things though...
a.) I would recommend adding a paragraph or two of your own thoughts about the article content ahead of the article in your posting! Whether you agree, disagree, or share some personal insight or experience that may relate to the article content.
b.) You need to give full credit to the article Author at the bottom of the article. This is commonly referred as the "Resource Box." It will typically have the background on the author, and how one can go about contacting them or getting to their website.
#2 - How to Automate Your Posting to your Blog:
If you have an account with Blogger.com, under your Settings, you will find a tab named 'Email'. It is an email address that you can use to automatically send email to and will take the contents of that email and make it into a post on your Blog!
Pretty neat, eh?!?
Well the way you can automate this is to use a special autoresponder service to activate the "automation" part of this process...
What's an autoresponder?
Well in it's basic form, an autoresponder is a simple database that holds the name and email address of any subscribers who signup for that autoresponder and then, based on the number of messages you put in ahead of time, will automatically send
out the messages in sequential order based on the number of days set between each message.
For example...
Message 1 will go out immediately when someone signs up for your autoresponder by filling in a form on your website. Maybe you have Message 2 followup set for 3 days later. Then Message 3 another 4 days after Message 2, etc.
The KEY here though, is that just any Autoresponder won't work for what we are trying to accomplish...
We need a smart autoresponder where you can setup the number of days between messages AND also set the time...You can find an excellent autoresponder service that includes these critical features, plus allows you to have an unlimited number of autoresponders for less than $20 bucks a month!

So what do you do from here?
You log in to your autoresponder control panel, and then setup each individual article as a message to send out to your Blogger account email address. By the way, make sure you add your Blogger email to the subscriber portion of the autoresponder list....
Once you setup all the articles as individual messages to go out, I would recommend have then spaced about 3-4 days apart, and make sure you change out the times of the posting a bit... maybe one in the morning and then the next posting is 3 days later in the evening. Then the next one after that is four days later and also in the evening, etc.
How does this calculate on saving you time?
Well lets assume you come up with 20 articles AND follow this autoresponder "automation" schedule:
Day 01 - Article #1 (ie., message #1) goes to your Blog
Day 02 - Article #2
Day 03 - Article #3
Day 04 - Article #4
Day 05 - Article #5
Day 06 - Article #6
Day 07 - Article #7
Day 10 - Artcile #8
Day 14 - Article #9
Day 17 - Article #10
Day 21 - Article #11
Day 25 - Article #12
Day 28 - Article #13
Day 32 - Article #14
Day 36 - Article #15
Day 40 - Article #16
Day 43 - Article #17

So by doing a few hours work on one day, you can turn around and have your Blog posting schedule automated for the next 2 months!
